Zodiac Express Private Limited is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – HR & Admin for its Kolkata operations. The role involves managing recruitment, HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and manpower planning across multiple locations in the last-mile delivery ecosystem.
π Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for delivery staff, field executives, and branch employees
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and labor law regulations
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS reports using Advanced Excel
- Monitor manpower budgeting, HR costs, and salary structures
- Manage onboarding, documentation, and background verification processes
- Handle attendance, leave management, employee records, and contracts
- Resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters
- Coordinate payroll activities and salary processing support
- Support HR audits and legal documentation activities
- Coordinate with branch and regional teams for manpower fulfillment
π Eligibility Criteria
- 4–6 years of HR experience in service industry required
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or quick commerce HR preferred
- Graduate qualification required; LLB preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance required
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, and dashboards preferred
- Strong communication and employee handling skills required
- Age limit preferred: 35–40 years
