π Job Description
Bengal Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Shift Chemists for its beverage manufacturing operations in Dankuni, Hooghly. The role involves syrup room operations, water treatment plant monitoring, quality checks, sanitation processes, and maintaining beverage production quality standards.
π Key Roles & Responsibilities
π₯€ Syrup Room Operations
- Prepare beverage base and syrup as per approved formulations
- Conduct Brix, acidity, pH, and in-process quality checks
- Ensure proper CIP cleaning and sanitation of tanks and pipelines
- Maintain syrup preparation records and batch traceability
- Monitor raw material usage and report discrepancies
π§ Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
- Operate and monitor WTP systems including RO, UV, filters, and softeners
- Conduct routine testing of raw and treated water parameters
- Check pH, TDS, chlorine, hardness, turbidity, and microbial content
- Ensure compliance with water quality and food safety standards
- Maintain logs and calibration records of testing equipment
π Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Food Processing Technology or Dairy Technology required
- B.Tech candidates are not required for this role
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in beverage or food manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of syrup preparation and quality testing required
- Experience operating Water Treatment Plant systems preferred
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards preferred
- Good analytical and reporting skills preferred
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and production environments required
