Amazon is hiring Operations Managers and Senior Operations Managers across multiple locations in India. This leadership role is responsible for managing large-scale fulfillment, sortation, and last-mile delivery operations while driving productivity, quality, customer experience, and operational excellence.
Candidates will lead teams, optimize operational performance, manage workforce planning, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
π Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end operations across fulfillment centers, sort centers, and delivery networks
- Build and execute scalable operational processes
- Hire, train, develop, and manage operational teams
- Ensure sufficient workforce planning during peak volume periods
- Drive productivity, quality, and customer experience metrics
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Delivery Stations, FCs, and Project teams
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor operations managers
- Implement Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze operational reports and identify performance bottlenecks
- Drive safety, engagement, network speed, and cost optimization initiatives
π Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Experience managing large operational teams
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
