📝 Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Curator with 5+ years of relevant experience across art curation, exhibitions, galleries, museums or cultural institutions.
The role is an Individual Contributor (IC) position focused on contemporary art, exhibition curation, cultural programs, artist research and independent project execution.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and curate exhibitions, art projects and cultural programs.
- Research artists, artworks and contemporary art practices.
- Develop exhibition narratives, concepts and curatorial content.
- Collaborate with artists, galleries, institutions and creative partners.
- Independently manage exhibition planning, installation and execution.
- Build and maintain relationships across the art and cultural ecosystem.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders throughout exhibition and project execution.
- Support the development of meaningful contemporary art and cultural experiences.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Curation, Art Galleries, Museums or Cultural Institutions.
- Strong understanding of Contemporary Art.
- Strong understanding of the Indian Art Ecosystem.
- Excellent research and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects as an Individual Contributor.
- Strong network with artists, galleries, collectors and cultural stakeholders will be an advantage.
