A Leading Buying House in Gurgaon is looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser – PD & Production to manage end-to-end product development and production merchandising for international apparel buyers.
The role involves coordinating with international buyers, vendors, factories and internal teams while managing product development, sampling, costing, production follow-up, quality and delivery timelines.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end Product Development & Production Merchandising.
- Coordinate with international buyers, vendors, factories and internal teams.
- Manage Tech Packs, BOM, specifications, artwork, fabrics and trims.
- Drive sample development, comments and approvals.
- Prepare and monitor T&A calendars.
- Manage costing, price negotiation and order execution.
- Coordinate fabric, trims, accessories and production requirements.
- Monitor production, quality and delivery timelines.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 7–11 years of relevant experience in Apparel Merchandising.
- Strong exposure to Product Development & Production Merchandising.
- Good understanding of Woven / Knit garments.
- Strong knowledge of Sampling, Costing, T&A and Production Follow-up.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling international buyers.
- Ability to manage multiple styles/orders simultaneously.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising or related field preferred.
