📝 Job Description
We are looking for a State FTTX Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Fiber Network Operations & Maintenance, GPON, OTDR and Fiber Splicing.
The role involves managing FTTX field operations and network maintenance, ensuring OLT & ODN network HOTO within defined SLA, driving corrective and preventive maintenance activities, and providing technical support to field teams.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Manage FTTX field operations and network maintenance.
- Ensure OLT & ODN network HOTO within defined SLA.
- Drive Corrective & Preventive Maintenance (C&M/PM) activities.
- Monitor and manage spares, TMI and tools as per network requirements.
- Ensure timely TMI availability and calibration.
- Resolve O2A issues assigned to O&M.
- Provide technical support and supervision to FRT & Technicians.
- Coordinate with local authorities, building owners and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with Construction, Home Care, Business, MSP and other cross-functional teams.
- Manage material-related activities and ensure timely availability.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 4–7 years.
- Education: BE/B. Tech – Electronics.
- Hands-on experience in Fiber Splicing, OTDR, LSPM & Cable Locator.
- Strong experience in Fiber Network O&M.
- Knowledge of Transmission/IP Network equipment.
- Good understanding of Fiber Optics Communication.
- Basic knowledge of Transmission, DLC & OLT equipment.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
