Eshan Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement for ongoing manufacturing operations and new projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industrial purchasing, machinery and spare parts procurement, vendor development, commercial negotiations and cost control. The role requires coordination with project and plant locations as needed.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors for heavy equipment spares, industrial fuels, site machinery and daily operational consumables.
- Support procurement requirements for ongoing manufacturing operations and new projects.
Negotiation & Rate Contracts
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Execute Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs) with key suppliers to optimize operational costs.
Purchase Order Workflow Management
- Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) received from site heads.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) with accurate specifications, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Inventory & Store Coordination
- Coordinate with site storekeepers to monitor stock levels.
- Review Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and maintain optimum safety stock to help prevent operational downtime.
Vendor & Financial Compliance
- Conduct periodic vendor evaluations.
- Verify GST-compliant invoices in coordination with the Accounts team.
- Resolve supplier lead-time delays and quality rejections.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of procurement experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with Tally and Advanced MS Excel.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of machinery spare parts.
- Thorough understanding of GST and procurement documentation.
- Willingness to travel to project and plant locations as required.
