A manufacturing organization is hiring a Sr. Executive – EHS in Anjar, Gujarat. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring EHS policies, plant safety standards, audits, risk assessments, statutory compliance and workplace safety.
Candidates should have 4–7 years of experience and a recognized qualification in Industrial Safety, which is mandatory for this role.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Handle client audits, ISO audits and NC closing activities.
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct regular plant safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Monitor compliance with PPE, fire, electrical, machine and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain EHS records, reports and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR and other departments.
- Support emergency drills and disaster management activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, agencies and statutory authorities.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 4–7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Recognized qualification in Industrial Safety is mandatory.
- Additional EHS/Safety certifications will be an advantage.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Maximum notice period of 30 days.
