π Job Description
Swiggy is hiring Sales Managers for its Chennai operations team. The role focuses on acquiring and managing restaurant partners, driving business growth, building strong relationships, and helping restaurant owners improve visibility, engagement, and order growth through Swiggy’s platform.
π Key Responsibilities
- Manage restaurant acquisition and engagement within assigned territories
- Conduct field visits and in-person meetings with restaurant partners
- Provide product demos, ROI discussions, and consultative sales support
- Understand restaurant business challenges and offer suitable solutions
- Handle the complete lifecycle including pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing support
- Track business growth, adoption metrics, and operational performance
- Manage revenue targets and conversion pipelines effectively
- Perform market research and monitor local restaurant trends and competition
- Maintain accurate reports and dashboards using Excel and Google Sheets
- Conduct 80–90 in-person meetings with restaurant partners every month
π Eligibility Criteria
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development preferred
- Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, hotel, or restaurant industry preferred
- Strong target achievement and sales pipeline management experience required
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheet knowledge required
- Ability to create Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and dashboards independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills required
- Field sales and consultative selling mindset preferred
