π Job Description
Amazon is hiring a Team Lead for its Middle Mile Sort Center Operations team in Manesar, Haryana. This is a floor-based leadership role responsible for managing large operational teams, driving sortation efficiency, ensuring process compliance, maintaining safety standards, and improving operational productivity during assigned shifts.
π Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 30–80+ associates during operational shifts
- Drive inbound, sortation, and outbound operational performance
- Conduct pre-shift planning and operational readiness checks
- Deliver Start of Shift (SOS) briefings and workforce alignment
- Monitor TPH, scan compliance, quality metrics, and CPT priorities
- Manage labor movements and operational exceptions in real time
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE, and ergonomic practices
- Drive Kaizen initiatives, process improvements, and defect reduction
- Conduct floor engagement, coaching, and real-time feedback sessions
- Support end-of-shift handovers, audits, and 5S readiness activities
π Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or customer-facing environments preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook required
- Strong communication skills in English preferred
- Ability to work rotational shifts including nights and weekends required
- Experience managing operational teams preferred
- Strong understanding of logistics and sort center workflows preferred
- Capability to work in fast-paced operational environments required
