Jio is hiring a State WiFi Lead for its Engineering & Technology team in Meerut. The role involves planning and deploying Wi-Fi networks, building RF coverage plans, managing Wi-Fi core deployments, monitoring infrastructure KPIs, and handing over deployed networks to operations teams for seamless service delivery. 0
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deploy Wi-Fi networks across the assigned telecom circle
- Work closely with business teams to develop deployment plans based on business requirements
- Design RF coverage plans for targeted areas and hotspots
- Lead Wi-Fi core deployment activities in coordination with NHQ WiFi teams
- Monitor KPIs and performance of deployed Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Ensure successful handover of deployed Wi-Fi infrastructure to operations teams
- Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners during rollout projects
- Drive project execution and deployment timelines
- Support network optimization and service quality initiatives
- Maintain deployment standards and operational compliance
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
- Minimum 8 years and maximum 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience handling PMP, CDMA, WiMax, and Wireless Networks
- Strong understanding of Core Network architecture and call flows
- Experience in Wireless Implementation and Vendor Management
- Hands-on experience with RF planning and optimization tools
- Ability to design and implement large-scale Wi-Fi hotspot networks
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
