π Job Description
Amazon is hiring an Area Manager – ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) for its Hyderabad Fulfillment Center. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, process standardization, defect elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives across fulfillment center operations using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
π Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects across Inbound, Outbound, and ICQA operations
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process improvement workshops
- Drive implementation of Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, and Standard Work
- Identify operational defects and lead root cause analysis initiatives
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate process variability
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures and process documentation
- Conduct Gemba walks and process audits to ensure compliance and operational discipline
- Track and improve key operational metrics including DPMO, Cycle Time, and First Pass Yield
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly operational excellence reviews
- Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, RME, and HR teams to drive sustainable improvements
π Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies preferred
- Experience in project management or program management is an advantage
- Understanding of fulfillment center and warehouse operations preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously
