Scanwell Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Accounts Executives for its Mumbai and Bangalore locations. The selected candidates will support day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including GST and TDS-related activities, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, account maintenance, and financial documentation. This opportunity is suitable for B.Com or Finance graduates with 2–5 years of Accounts & Finance experience, preferably within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.

πŸ›  Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting and finance transactions accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documentation.
  • Support GST-related accounting, reconciliation, documentation, and compliance activities.
  • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and related documentation.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and identify and resolve reconciliation differences.
  • Process vendor invoices and coordinate vendor payment activities as per approved processes.
  • Maintain vendor accounts and perform periodic vendor ledger reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities where required.
  • Ensure accurate recording of freight forwarding and logistics-related financial transactions.
  • Use accounting software for transaction recording, ledger management, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting MIS, reports, schedules, and reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders for accounting-related matters.
  • Support month-end closing, audits, and statutory compliance activities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance is required.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
  • Experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry will be preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GST and TDS processes is required.
  • Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation and vendor payment processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and computerized accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
