π Job Description
EY India is hiring a Data Privacy professional for its Jamshedpur location. The selected candidate should have relevant knowledge and hands-on exposure to data privacy frameworks and regulations, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework and GDPR. The role requires familiarity with privacy governance activities such as Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), and Consent Management. Candidates should have approximately 3 years of total work experience and be available to join within a maximum of 30 days.
π Key Responsibilities
- Support data privacy and data protection programs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist with implementation and compliance activities related to DPDP and GDPR requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Support the preparation and analysis of Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) to map personal data movement across systems and processes.
- Assist in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for relevant business processes and systems.
- Support Consent Management processes and ensure appropriate handling of data subject preferences.
- Identify privacy risks and support remediation and compliance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with business, technology, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders on data privacy requirements.
- Support privacy assessments, documentation, controls, and governance processes.
- Maintain accurate privacy-related documentation, trackers, and compliance records.
- Support continuous monitoring and improvement of organizational data privacy practices.

- Approximately 3 years of total professional work experience.
- Relevant knowledge or experience in Data Privacy and Data Protection.
- Understanding of India's DPDP framework and GDPR requirements.
- Knowledge of Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Familiarity with Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and personal data mapping.
- Knowledge of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- Understanding of Consent Management and privacy governance processes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Candidate must be available to join at Jamshedpur.
- Joining period should not exceed 30 days.
