Zepto is hiring experienced professionals for the role of Manager II – Deputy Cluster Manager / Cluster Manager (Darkstore Operations) in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple dark stores, driving warehouse and fulfillment performance, ensuring inventory accuracy, leading large operations teams, and achieving key business KPIs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations across multi-site environments.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations across multiple dark stores within the assigned cluster
- Drive warehouse productivity, fulfillment efficiency, and operational excellence
- Own key operational KPIs including productivity, SLA adherence, inventory accuracy, and customer experience
- Lead manpower planning, shift scheduling, and roster management across multiple sites
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, audits, and stock reconciliation
- Monitor order fulfillment, dispatch operations, and delivery readiness
- Drive process improvements to optimize productivity, cost, and operational efficiency
- Coach, mentor, and develop operations managers, team leaders, and warehouse associates
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and business teams for seamless execution
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and operational best practices
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 6–8 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience managing multi-site warehouse or dark store operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and fulfillment processes
- Experience managing large teams, manpower planning, and roster scheduling
- Strong analytical and KPI-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working in e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, or logistics operations is preferred
