π Job Description
Campus Activewear Ltd. is hiring an experienced Legal professional for its IPR & Litigation function at its Gurgaon office. The selected candidate will manage Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), litigation matters, legal research, compliance reporting, and coordination with external counsels. This opportunity is ideal for LL.B. professionals with 3+ years of experience, preferably from listed organizations in the footwear, retail, apparel, consumer goods, or manufacturing industries.
π Key Responsibilities
- Manage Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) including trademarks, designs, and copyrights.
- Handle litigation matters related to consumer disputes, Negotiable Instruments (NI) Act, and Intellectual Property.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels for litigation strategy, documentation, and case management.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions and advisory support to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor ongoing legal cases and maintain litigation trackers and status reports.
- Prepare and maintain Legal MIS, reports, and documentation.
- Support legal compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to internal legal processes.
- Review legal notices, documents, agreements, and related legal correspondence as required.
- Maintain proper records of legal documents, filings, and intellectual property portfolios.
- Coordinate with business teams and external agencies to ensure timely legal support and compliance.
- Support process improvements and legal governance initiatives within the legal function.
π Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal, IPR, or Litigation.
- Experience in listed organizations is preferred.
- Preferred industry experience includes Footwear, Retail, Apparel, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience managing trademarks, designs, copyrights, and other Intellectual Property matters.
- Experience handling litigation related to Consumer matters, NI Act, and Intellectual Property.
- Strong legal research, legal drafting, and advisory capabilities.
- Experience maintaining Legal MIS, compliance reports, and legal documentation.
- Strong coordination skills while working with external counsels and internal stakeholders.
