BigBasket is hiring an experienced Regional Project Head – Project & Infrastructure to lead regional infrastructure development and project execution across Gujarat. The selected candidate will oversee store launches, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, facility management, vendor coordination, and operational readiness while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and business standards.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of new store launches, renovations, refits, and infrastructure projects.
- Manage vendors, procurement activities, facility operations, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure efficient operation of electrical systems, refrigeration units, and power backup infrastructure.
- Drive cold chain compliance and food safety standards across all locations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Lead and mentor regional project teams while ensuring operational readiness.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality standards, and vendor performance.
- Travel across Gujarat and support Indore & Bhopal locations whenever required.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate degree required; B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) preferred.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Project & Infrastructure Management.
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, or Facility & Infrastructure Projects preferred.
- Strong experience managing multi-location project execution.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, DG backup, and facility operations.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel across Gujarat and support Indore & Bhopal when required.
