An opportunity is available for a Fleet Manager in Vadodara, Gujarat to lead and manage a large team of Delivery Partners. The role involves hands-on field operations, partner engagement, performance management, training, and resolution of operational escalations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 120–150 Delivery Partners and driving daily efficiency, attendance, delivery performance, and partner engagement.
This is a field-oriented role. Candidates must own a 2-wheeler, have strong knowledge of the local area and routes, and be comfortable with weekend and field work when required.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of approximately 120–150 Delivery Partners.
- Monitor daily delivery partner attendance and availability.
- Drive operational efficiency and improve delivery performance.
- Monitor delivery times and identify operational performance gaps.
- Conduct regular field audits and operational checks.
- Conduct training and coaching sessions for Delivery Partners.
- Conduct regular one-on-one engagement with delivery partners.
- Understand partner concerns and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Handle operational escalations and emergency situations.
- Support Delivery Partners during field-level operational challenges.
- Monitor local operational conditions and route-related challenges.
- Drive partner engagement and support consistent operational performance.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 2–3 years of experience managing blue-collar teams.
- Experience in Fleet, Last-Mile Delivery, Logistics, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, or related operations is preferred.
- Strong local language fluency.
- Good knowledge of Vadodara's local routes and geography.
- Must own a two-wheeler.
- Comfortable conducting field visits as required.
- Willingness to work on weekends when required by business operations.
