📄 Job Description
The GS Group is hiring an experienced Head of Security to lead its corporate security function from the Noida corporate office.
This leadership opportunity is suitable for experienced security professionals with 10+ years of experience in corporate and/or industrial security management. The selected candidate will be responsible for strengthening the organization's security framework, managing security teams and vendors, and ensuring effective risk and incident management.
Important: Candidates must have worked in a manufacturing plant at least once during their career. This is a required criterion for the position.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall corporate security function and security strategy.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Manage corporate and industrial security requirements across the organization.
- Conduct security risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident management, investigation and appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage security personnel, teams and deployment requirements.
- Manage security vendors, agencies and service providers.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and security monitoring processes.
- Oversee access control systems and ensure effective implementation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security policies, procedures and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and relevant external agencies when required.
- Review security incidents, trends and risk areas and recommend preventive measures.
- Drive continuous improvement across corporate and plant security operations.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 10+ years of relevant security management experience.
- Strong experience in Corporate Security and/or Industrial Security Management.
- Mandatory: At least one career assignment in a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in security risk assessment and incident management.
- Strong team management and security manpower deployment experience.
- Experience managing security vendors and external agencies.
- Hands-on understanding of CCTV surveillance and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of access control systems and security compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement security policies and processes.
