📝 Job Description
We are looking for a Compliance Surveillance Analyst to support Communication Surveillance activities for the APAC region within a leading banking environment.
The role involves reviewing and analysing surveillance alerts related to firm and employee activities, identifying potential issues and unusual activities, and escalating findings appropriately.
The position follows a Hybrid Work Model with 3 Days WFO per Week and operates on an APAC shift.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Support Communication Surveillance activities for the APAC region.
- Review and analyse surveillance alerts related to firm and employee activities.
- Assess surveillance findings and identify potential issues or exceptions.
- Identify unusual activities and escalate them appropriately.
- Follow compliance processes, controls, SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse surveillance findings and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain accuracy and consistent quality in surveillance reviews.
- Support surveillance activities related to communications and employee activities.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Compliance Surveillance, Trade Surveillance, Information Barrier Surveillance or a related field.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce or Finance, or MBA in Finance / related field.
- Experience reviewing and analysing surveillance alerts related to firm and employee activities.
- Exposure to E-communications & Voice Surveillance is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of compliance processes, controls, SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistent quality.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
