Amazon's Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) team is seeking a highly skilled professional to help develop and implement a world-class security program protecting people and assets while supporting reliable customer delivery.
The SLP Expert, INTL is an individual contributor role responsible for investigations, physical security, asset protection, audits, loss prevention, crisis management, and business reviews across assigned sites.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end physical security operations, including guarding services, headcount, work allocation, control room monitoring, and workforce performance.
- Manage security assets and systems, including access control, monitoring, maintenance, and serviceability.
- Conduct site audits and drive remediation of identified defects.
- Drive required security certifications and site compliance.
- Identify process violations through audits and floor patrolling and develop corrective mechanisms.
- Identify technology and system interventions that can scale process improvements.
- Investigate theft, fraud, and customer-abuse incidents using surveillance evidence and data.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement recommendations where required.
- Analyze trends and key methods of operation across assigned sites.
- Evaluate internal and external risk and support crisis and incident management.
- Prepare and present WBR, MBR, and QBR business-review materials.
- Partner with field and program leaders on strategic security topics.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 10+ years of experience in law enforcement or a security-related profession.
- Experience in law enforcement or security-related work.
- Ability to collaborate with operations, technical, vendor, and support teams.
- Strong investigation, risk assessment, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
