Zepto is hiring a Team Lead – Category Management – F&V for its headquarters in Bangalore. The role focuses on driving the Fresh and Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) category through analytics-led decision-making.
The selected candidate will use data and SQL to analyze category performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive initiatives across assortment, pricing, availability, inventory, wastage, and margins.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Own the F&V category across growth, assortment, pricing, availability, and margins.
- Use SQL extensively to uncover category, SKU, and store-level insights.
- Analyze sales, inventory, wastage, stock-outs, availability, and margins.
- Identify opportunities and performance gaps through data analysis.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities through data-driven category decisions.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Turn analytical insights into actionable initiatives.
- Drive measurable business impact through category initiatives.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Category Management or Analytics.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills.
- Experience in F&V, Fresh, FMCG, Retail, E-Commerce, or Quick Commerce.
- Strong understanding of category and business metrics.
- Ability to independently analyze data and translate insights into business recommendations.
- Strong ownership mindset and passion for solving complex problems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
