Pranik Logistics Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional to join its team as Zonal AM – Transportation in Kolkata.
The role involves managing transportation operations across an assigned zone, including fleet utilization, transporter management, delivery performance, transportation costs, operational KPIs and coordination with warehouse/DC teams.
The ideal candidate should have 4–8 years of relevant transportation experience, strong knowledge of fleet and transporter management, and experience handling multiple locations or zones.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Manage transportation operations across the assigned zone.
- Monitor vehicle placement, fleet utilization and delivery performance.
- Manage transporters, vendors and operational partners.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, TAT and OTIF targets.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with warehouse/DC teams for smooth movement of goods.
- Handle customer escalations and transportation-related operational challenges.
- Monitor manpower productivity and operational KPIs.
- Prepare and analyse transportation MIS and performance reports.
- Conduct regular site visits.
- Support new business and site launches.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Transportation.
- Strong knowledge of fleet and transporter management.
- Experience handling multiple locations or zones.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS.
- Willingness to travel as required.
