📌 Job Description
Amazon is looking for an experienced 3PL Senior Manager to manage and lead the AMXL network in Egypt. The position is responsible for the overall AMXL operation, including Fulfillment Centres, transportation, and coordination with third-party logistics providers.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across Transportation, Retail, and Supply Chain to improve operational performance, support strategic planning, and ensure efficient handling and delivery of oversized items.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end AMXL network operations, including Fulfillment Centres and transportation, across the Egyptian market.
- Contribute to annual Operational Plan 1 (OP1) and Operational Plan 2 (OP2) processes.
- Set strategic goals for third-party AMXL operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers (AMs) and Process Assistants (PAs).
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in handling and delivering oversized items.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end large-item delivery.
- Manage budgets and operational resources in line with business objectives.
- Develop innovative solutions to address challenges across the AMXL network.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and act as the main contact for internal teams.
🎓 Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques.
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- 5+ years of team leadership and development experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Experience using data analytics and metrics to identify problems.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English fluently.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, shifts, and work areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company or experience coordinating domestic or international travel.
