📝 Job Description
Bigbasket is looking for an Inventory Executive with strong experience in FMCG / E-commerce warehouse operations and exposure to multi-SKU inventory management.
The role involves end-to-end inventory management, warehouse process control, reconciliation, shrinkage prevention, audit readiness, WMS/ERP operations and team handling.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory across inbound, put-away, stacking, picking and dispatch.
- Ensure 100% GRN accuracy with same-day closure; maintain FIFO/LIFO and planogram compliance.
- Conduct cycle counts, physical verification, monthly wall-to-wall inventory and asset counts.
- Drive shrinkage control, fraud prevention and maintain audit readiness.
- Perform WMS/ERP reconciliations, MIS reporting and advanced reconciliations including TO/TI and GIT.
- Oversee picking, sorting and packing to ensure timely handover to hubs as per cut-offs.
- Control damaged and expired inventory and ensure timely write-offs as per SOP.
- Share weekly expiry data with Bamp.
- Manage cross-location inventory and execute the Second Sales Process as per SOP.
- Conduct daily G2 staff briefings, task allocation, productivity guidance and SOP refreshers.
- Monitor team performance and provide on-the-job coaching.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in FMCG / E-commerce warehouse operations.
- Multi-SKU inventory exposure is required.
- Graduate qualification; B.Com preferred.
- Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, audits, supply chain and grocery/perishables.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Strong communication, team handling and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts.
- Immediate to 15 days joining preferred.
