Job Description
The Merchandiser will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure timely order execution, product quality, and on-time delivery. The role includes order management, sample development, production follow-up, inventory monitoring, and effective communication with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers and suppliers regarding orders, product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on product development, samples, approvals, and production activities.
- Monitor production progress to ensure timely order completion and shipment.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, order sheets, reports, and other merchandising documents.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Ensure products meet buyer requirements and quality standards.
- Track inventory, stock availability, and material requirements.
- Communicate order updates, delays, and delivery schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Resolve order-related issues and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, deliveries, and customer communications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field.
- Previous experience in merchandising or a related field is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work within deadlines.
- Mumbai-based candidates are preferred for the Airoli, Navi Mumbai location.
