📌 About the Role
BringBasket – UVT Retail Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Store Operations Manager to lead day-to-day retail operations, drive store performance, and support new-store expansion in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG, Grocery, Supermarket, Hypermarket, or Modern Retail, along with experience in multi-store operations and new store launches.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor multi-store retail operations and ensure SOP compliance.
- Drive sales, profitability, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
- Lead new store openings, including manpower, inventory, merchandising, vendors, and operational readiness.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment, shrinkage, damages, and inventory variance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, and merchandising.
- Manage and develop Store Managers, Supervisors, Cashiers, and frontline teams.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and performance reports.
- Coordinate with HR, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Finance teams.
🎓 Candidate Profile
- Graduate; MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in Retail, FMCG, Grocery, or Modern Retail.
- Strong experience in multi-store operations and new store launches.
- Proven experience managing retail teams and store KPIs.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel across assigned locations.
