Amazon is hiring an Area Manager for its Sort Center Operations team in Manesar, Haryana. This role involves managing shift operations, improving team performance, driving process improvements, handling stakeholder coordination, and ensuring smooth logistics and sortation center operations to maintain business continuity and customer experience.
π Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily sort center shift operations and operational workflows
- Identify opportunities to improve team performance and operational efficiency

- Analyze operational trends and make data-driven business decisions
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, suppliers, finance, and fulfillment teams

π Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience required
- 2+ years of process improvement, performance metrics, or lean techniques experience preferred
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations preferred
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal form required
- Experience using Excel, Access, SQL, or reporting systems preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays required
- Comfortable working in physically demanding operational environments required
