BigBasket is hiring a Sourcing Lead for its Last Mile Department in Mumbai. The role involves managing rider sourcing operations, workforce planning, onboarding processes, rider engagement initiatives, and leading field recruitment teams to ensure continuous rider availability.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage Team Leads and Field Recruiters for large-scale rider hiring operations
- Ensure continuous rider availability aligned with business demand and service levels
- Drive workforce planning and manpower deployment across stores
- Monitor rider supply, attrition, and hiring funnel performance using dashboards
- Lead productivity improvement and hiring efficiency initiatives
- Ensure seamless rider onboarding and activation processes
- Maintain compliance documentation including BGV, KYC, and insurance records
- Drive rider engagement and retention initiatives for workforce stability
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, Stores, and Regional stakeholders
- Ensure audit readiness and adherence to onboarding SOPs
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 4–8 years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, operations, or workforce management preferred
- Experience in quick commerce, last-mile operations, or gig workforce management preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills required
- Experience handling large-scale field recruitment teams preferred
- Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities required
- Willingness to travel within the city required
- Clear personal, educational, and work experience documents required
