Lenskart is hiring a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Legal for its Legal team in Gurugram. The role focuses on commercial contracting, legal advisory, corporate governance, compliance management, and supporting strategic business initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
- Provide legal advisory support to business and functional teams
- Support strategic partnerships, business initiatives, and commercial transactions
- Assist in corporate governance and compliance management activities
- Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures
- Review and advise on business proposals, vendor agreements, and partnerships
- Support regulatory compliance and policy implementation initiatives
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal partners when required
- Maintain legal documentation, records, and governance frameworks
- Contribute to process improvements and legal best practices across the organization
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- LLB degree (3-Year or 5-Year Program) is mandatory
- 2–5 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) required
- Strong experience in commercial contracts and legal advisory functions
- Exposure to corporate governance and compliance management preferred
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer-tech, startups, or similar industries preferred
- Prior law firm experience will be an added advantage
