Infosys BPM is hiring an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. The role focuses on category management, supplier relationship management, sourcing strategy development, contract negotiations, procurement transformation, and driving measurable business value through operational excellence and digital enablement.
π Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies based on market intelligence and spend analysis
- Lead RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Manage supplier performance, risk assessments, and supplier relationship programs
- Collaborate with delivery teams and sourcing leaders for seamless execution
- Drive procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support sustainability, compliance, and governance requirements
- Leverage analytics and procurement technologies for decision-making
- Manage catalogue systems, e-sourcing platforms, and procurement tools
- Provide reporting on savings, compliance, supplier performance, and procurement effectiveness
π Eligibility Criteria
- 10–12 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or category management
- B.Com or BE qualification required
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Knowledge of procurement governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience in supplier relationship management (SRM)
- Strong analytical and spend management capabilities
- Experience working with procurement technologies and e-sourcing platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
