Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is hiring Transportation Specialists for its EU Middle Mile Operations team in Hyderabad. This role combines transportation execution, logistics operations, defect analysis, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will help ensure reliable, cost-effective, and on-time movement of freight across Amazon's transportation network while contributing to long-term operational improvements.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily linehaul transportation operations and shipment movements
- Track planned versus actual transportation schedules and resolve operational exceptions
- Investigate transportation defects and identify root causes
- Implement corrective actions and support defect-reduction initiatives
- Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and operational accuracy
- Coordinate with carriers, fulfillment centers, sort centers, and scheduling teams
- Generate operational reports and perform data analysis using internal systems
- Support process improvement programs to enhance network performance and KPIs
- Create documentation, SOPs, and operational standards when required
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required
- Knowledge of SQL is mandatory
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations preferred
- Experience analyzing operational data and driving business decisions
- Knowledge of linehaul, middle mile, or transportation operations is an advantage
- Experience creating SOPs, BRDs, or process documentation preferred
