Style Baazar is hiring an experienced Area Manager for its retail operations in North East India. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing multiple stores, driving sales and profitability, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across the assigned area. This opportunity is suitable for experienced retail professionals with strong leadership, people management, and business management capabilities, preferably from the apparel or fashion retail industry.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the performance of multiple retail stores within the assigned area.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and achievement of business targets across all assigned stores.
- Monitor store-level KPIs and implement action plans to improve overall business performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams to build a high-performance culture.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and retail standards.
- Monitor customer experience and support initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Review store productivity, staffing, inventory, and operational performance.
- Identify business opportunities and operational gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and store teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Drive operational excellence, cost control, and profitability across the assigned stores.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in retail operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience working as an Area Manager.
- Experience in Apparel or Fashion Retail will be preferred.
- Strong experience in managing multiple retail stores and store leadership teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Strong leadership, people management, and business acumen.
- Ability to analyze store performance and take data-driven business decisions.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
