π QA/QC Engineer – 765 kV AIS Substation | EHV Substation Project Hiring
π Job Description
Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a QA/QC Engineer for a 765 kV AIS Substation project in Rajasthan. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved quality standards, and managing QA/QC activities from the construction stage through testing and commissioning. The role requires hands-on experience in both civil and electrical quality activities for EHV substations, preferably 765 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) projects.
π Key Responsibilities
- Monitor QA/QC activities in accordance with approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with approved quality requirements and project procedures.
- Review method statements, material approvals, inspection reports, and other quality-related documentation.
- Supervise civil works including equipment foundations, control room construction, cable trenches, and structural works.
- Monitor the quality of electrical works involving transformers, CTs, PTs, circuit breakers, isolators, busbars, earthing systems, and cables.
- Conduct and witness inspections at different stages of construction and installation.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities for substation equipment and systems.
- Identify quality deviations, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure timely corrective actions and closure.
- Conduct quality audits and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, and final quality dossiers.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, OEMs, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Ensure quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle from construction to commissioning.
π Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in EHV Substation projects is preferred.
- Experience in 765 kV AIS Substation projects will be highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in both civil and electrical QA/QC activities.
- Exposure to the complete project lifecycle from construction through testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of applicable IS, IEC, and IEEE standards.
- Experience working in a developer, client, or EPC project environment.
- Willingness to work in a site-based role in Rajasthan.
