Aarti Steels Ltd. is looking for an experienced Shift Incharge – EOT Crane Electrical to join its SMS Operations team in Cuttack, Odisha.
The role is focused on managing and supporting electrical operations and maintenance of EOT crane systems in a steel manufacturing environment, ensuring reliable equipment performance and smooth shift operations.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage shift-level electrical operations related to EOT crane systems.
- Monitor the operational condition and performance of EOT crane electrical systems.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Identify electrical faults and coordinate timely troubleshooting.
- Ensure minimum equipment downtime through effective maintenance planning.
- Supervise electrical maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth SMS operations.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and identify potential failures.
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and as per established procedures.
- Maintain shift-related maintenance records and reports.
- Escalate critical electrical issues and breakdowns to the relevant engineering team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for crane electrical systems and maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and plant standards.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance and EOT crane systems will be required.
- Experience in steel, SMS or other heavy manufacturing environments will be preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of EOT crane electrical systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience handling shift-level electrical maintenance activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate breakdown maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices.
