Shadowfax is hiring an experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Last Mile Operations for its operations in the Mumbai Central / Western Belt.
The role is designed for an experienced Last Mile Operations professional who can drive ground-level execution, manage high-volume delivery operations, lead teams and take ownership of operational performance and profitability.
The ideal candidate should have 5–6+ years of core Last Mile Operations experience, strong knowledge of delivery operations, P&L management, operational cost control and CPS (Cost Per Shipment). Marathi proficiency is mandatory for effective coordination with ground teams.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Last Mile and Delivery Operations across the assigned Mumbai belt.
- Drive daily ground-level execution and ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Lead and manage ground operations teams and delivery workforce.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity and service metrics.
- Drive operational efficiency and improve delivery performance.
- Manage operational costs and ensure effective cost control.
- Monitor and manage P&L for the assigned operations.
- Track CPS (Cost Per Shipment) and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Handle operational escalations and resolve ground-level issues.
- Drive manpower planning, deployment and productivity of ground teams.
- Identify process gaps and implement operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to operational processes, service standards and business targets.
- Lead teams in a fast-paced and high-volume delivery environment.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 5–6+ years of core Last Mile Operations experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Last Mile / Delivery Operations.
- B.Tech is preferred; graduates from any discipline can apply.
- Strong understanding of ground-level delivery operations.
- Experience managing ground teams and delivery workforce.
- Good knowledge of P&L management and operational cost control.
- Strong understanding of CPS (Cost Per Shipment) and operational metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Marathi proficiency is mandatory for ground team coordination.
- Strong problem-solving, people-management and execution capabilities.
