Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail is hiring an experienced Assistant Store Manager for its fashion retail operations in West Bengal. The ideal candidate should have at least 5–6 years of experience in the fashion retail industry and should currently or previously have worked as a Store Manager.
The role is suited for a retail professional with strong expertise in store operations, sales, customer experience, team management, inventory control, and achievement of business targets.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in managing end-to-end store operations.
- Drive sales performance and achievement of store targets.
- Manage and motivate store staff to deliver strong business performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and in-store customer experience.
- Monitor inventory, stock availability, and merchandise movement.
- Ensure proper implementation of company SOPs and retail processes.
- Support visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
- Monitor daily sales, productivity, and operational KPIs.
- Handle customer concerns and support timely resolution of store-level issues.
- Assist with manpower planning, staff scheduling, and performance management.
- Support audits, compliance, and loss-prevention activities.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in the Fashion Retail industry.
- Previous experience as a Store Manager is required.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA qualification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fashion retail and store operations.
- Proven experience in sales, team handling, and customer service.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
