Flipkart is hiring an experienced Head – Industrial Relations to lead industrial relations, labour compliance, contract workforce governance, and site administration across its Pan-India fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and logistics hubs.

The selected candidate will play a strategic role in maintaining a positive industrial climate, managing workforce-related risks, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening 3PL and contract labour governance, and building effective relationships with government and external stakeholders.

πŸ›  Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Industrial Relations strategy across fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and logistics hubs.
  • Conduct industrial climate studies and proactively identify workforce and community risks.
  • Address worker grievances using a consultative and resolution-focused approach.
  • Ensure statutory labour compliance across applicable central and state regulations.
  • Monitor compliance related to CLRA, OSH, Factories Act, Wages Code, and other applicable requirements.
  • Conduct compliance audits and support statutory inspections across warehouse locations.
  • Govern contract labour and 3PL workforce compliance, safety, and welfare frameworks.
  • Build strong relationships with Labour Commissioners, Factory Inspectors, and local administration.
  • Oversee site administration services including catering, transportation, facilities, and employee welfare.
  • Prepare compliance risk dashboards and present key workforce risks to executive leadership.

  • Degree or Postgraduate qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, IRPM, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in Industrial Relations and labour compliance.
  • Strong experience managing contract workforce and blue-collar employees.
  • Experience across multi-state supply chain, e-commerce, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing labour audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
