📄 Job Description
EatsKart is looking for an experienced Merchant Operations Manager – Catalog to manage end-to-end merchant catalog readiness and ensure smooth go-live operations from its Kolkata – East location.
The role will own the merchant onboarding pipeline, catalog and menu quality, technology integration readiness and operational KPIs. The selected candidate will also lead the Catalog Operations team and drive continuous improvements across processes, SOPs and automation.
Professionals with experience in Marketplace Operations, Merchant Operations, E-commerce, Food-Tech or Catalog Operations will be preferred.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end merchant catalog readiness and go-live activities.
- Manage the merchant onboarding pipeline and ensure defined turnaround times are achieved.
- Drive catalog and menu quality across merchant listings.
- Ensure configuration accuracy and completeness before merchant go-live.
- Coordinate POS and technology integration readiness for merchants.
- Track and resolve cross-functional operational escalations.
- Monitor merchant onboarding and catalog operations performance.
- Track key KPIs including Go-Live TAT, Accuracy and First-Time-Right.
- Identify recurring operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Improve SOPs and operational processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process optimization.
- Lead, guide and manage the Catalog Operations team.
- Set team priorities and monitor individual and overall team performance.
- Coordinate with Product, Technology, Operations and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure merchant requirements are accurately translated into catalog and system configurations.
- Drive continuous improvement in catalog quality and merchant onboarding experience.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in Marketplace Operations, Merchant Operations, E-commerce, Food-Tech or Catalog Operations preferred.
- Experience managing merchant onboarding or catalog operations will be highly relevant.
- Strong understanding of catalog, menu and configuration quality processes.
- Experience managing operational TAT and quality KPIs.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and escalation-management skills.
- Experience leading or managing operations teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Process-improvement and automation mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
