Shadowfax, a technology-enabled logistics and supply chain company, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Operations to join its Middle Mile Operations team in Surat, Gujarat.
The role is suited to experienced operations professionals with a strong background in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management or operations management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving operational execution, managing teams and ensuring efficient movement of shipments across the middle-mile network.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day Middle Mile Operations across the assigned network.
- Ensure smooth and efficient movement of shipments between operational facilities.
- Manage warehouse and logistics operations supporting middle-mile execution.
- Lead operational teams and drive productivity and performance.
- Plan manpower and resources based on operational requirements.
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure achievement of defined performance targets.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, supply chain and other internal teams.
- Ensure timely dispatch, movement and receipt of shipments.
- Monitor service levels, turnaround time and operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvements to improve productivity and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to operational SOPs and company processes.
- Handle operational escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders across the network.

- Strong professional experience in Operations, Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in Middle Mile Operations will be highly relevant.
- Strong team-handling and operational leadership experience.
