A leading logistics organization is looking for experienced professionals for Network Planning – Line Haul Operations roles in Bangalore and Kolkata. The role requires strong hands-on exposure to linehaul operations, network design, lane planning, sort centres, route optimisation, capacity planning, vehicle utilisation, cost control, and real-time exception management.

🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize linehaul networks based on shipment volumes, node locations, capacity, and service requirements.
- Plan and manage logistics lanes across multi-node distribution networks.
- Optimize vehicle utilisation, load factors, fill rates, and cost per shipment.
- Develop capacity plans based on current volumes, forecasts, and network growth requirements.
- Work closely with sort centres and operational teams to ensure efficient linehaul movement.
- Plan TAT and LPT requirements across linehaul lanes and network nodes.
- Monitor real-time operational exceptions and coordinate corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for route optimisation and running-time improvement.
- Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Use TMS, Advanced Excel, SQL, and operational data to support network planning decisions.
- Monitor vehicle deployment, utilization, capacity, and network performance.
- Collaborate with operations, sort centres, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure network efficiency.

- 5–9 years of relevant experience in logistics, express delivery, e-commerce, 3PL, or supply chain network planning.
- Strong hands-on experience in linehaul or transportation network planning.
- Experience with network design, lane planning, route optimisation, and capacity planning.
- Understanding of sort centre and multi-node logistics operations.
- Experience monitoring vehicle utilisation, fill rate, and transportation costs.
- Hands-on knowledge of TMS is preferred.
