A leading organization in the Paint Industry is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage end-to-end warehouse operations in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
The role requires strong experience in warehouse and inventory management, along with the ability to manage inward operations, storage, picking, dispatch, manpower productivity, stock accuracy, warehouse MIS, audits, 5S, and safety compliance.
Candidates with prior experience in the Paint or Chemical Industry will be preferred, particularly those familiar with the safe handling and storage of paints, chemicals, batches, and related materials.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inward, storage, picking, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure batch-wise inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Monitor physical stock and system inventory and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage warehouse manpower, shift planning, productivity, and team performance.
- Ensure safe handling and appropriate storage of paints and chemicals.
- Monitor damages, shortages, leakage, and inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare and monitor warehouse MIS and operational reports.
- Conduct and support inventory and warehouse audits.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards across warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and operational SOPs.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with logistics, inventory, production, procurement, and other stakeholders.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 5–8 years of relevant warehouse and inventory management experience.
- Strong hands-on experience managing end-to-end warehouse operations.
- Experience in inward, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Experience managing warehouse manpower and productivity.
- Strong understanding of FIFO/FEFO, batch management, and stock accuracy.
- Paint or Chemical Industry experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety, 5S, audits, and SOP compliance.
- Ability to work from Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
