📄 Job Description
Nuvoco is looking for an experienced Operational Performance Executive / Engineer to join its Operations team at PCP, Panagarh, West Bengal.
The role will focus on monitoring plant operational performance, preparing and analysing MIS and KPI reports, supporting operational decision-making, and coordinating performance reviews across various plant functions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of plant operations, production planning, cost analysis and performance management, along with proficiency in SAP, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Candidates with experience in the Cement or Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control plant operational and performance parameters.
- Prepare, maintain and analyse plant MIS, KPIs and performance reports.
- Support the Plant Manager with operational analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare monthly production plans aligned with Business Unit targets.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly shutdown plans.
- Analyse operational, technical and cost variances.
- Identify deviations from planned performance and highlight key issues.
- Coordinate production, cost, CAPEX, reliability and energy review meetings.
- Prepare relevant data and performance information for review meetings.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, industrial standards and company norms.
- Support implementation of Nuvoco norms and operational best practices.
- Conduct plant benchmarking and compare performance against defined targets.
- Track operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with the CMO Office on operational matters.
- Work closely with cross-functional plant teams to support operational objectives.
- Analyse trends and provide actionable insights to plant leadership.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience in plant operations, operational performance or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in Cement / Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of plant MIS and operational KPIs.
- Knowledge of production planning and shutdown planning.
- Understanding of operational, technical and cost variance analysis.
- Good knowledge of plant performance benchmarking.
- Strong coordination skills for cross-functional operational reviews.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Good PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Knowledge of technical drawings will be required.
