📄 Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Team Lead – Last Mile for its transportation team. The role is responsible for shift operations at Delivery Centers and supporting the DC Manager in performance management and execution of the operational plan.
The Team Lead will define, build, and execute delivery processes, manage delivery-team capacity, improve performance, analyze operational data, and implement process improvements such as Kaizen.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and execute the delivery process from delivery station to customer address.
- Ensure sufficient territorial delivery-team bandwidth during peak periods.
- Engage closely with associates and maintain a motivated, performance-driven team.
- Continuously improve delivery processes through process and training improvements.
- Enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
- Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Implement process-control and improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.
- Support customer experience, ownership, and operational objectives.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Knowledge of the local language preferred.
