Amazon is seeking a Team Lead – Last Mile for its transportation team. The role is responsible for shift operations at Delivery Centers and supporting the DC Manager in performance management and execution of the operational plan.
The position focuses on delivery execution, peak-time bandwidth, team leadership, customer experience, data analysis, and continuous process improvement through mechanisms such as Kaizen.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and execute the delivery process from delivery station to customer address.
- Ensure sufficient territorial delivery-team bandwidth for peak-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain a motivated, performance-driven delivery team.
- Improve delivery performance through process and training improvements.
- Enhance quality, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
- Analyze data reports to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
- Implement formal process-control and improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.
- Maintain strong customer-service focus and ownership.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English fluently.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience with Excel.
- Experience with SQL and advanced Excel preferred.
