📋 Job Description
Amazon's People eXperience and Technology (PXT) teams support business growth through people by creating an inclusive culture focused on engagement, people experience, technology and innovation.
The HR Business Partner will work with Operations and support teams to drive HR strategy, employee engagement and business results. The role involves shaping and sustaining a positive team culture while developing HR strategies around safety, employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, talent management, employee relations and organizational effectiveness.
The role also involves leading HR employees at different career stages and using data, policy, process, communication and experience to improve the employee lifecycle and achieve people and operational goals.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and jointly own decisions related to people matters.
- Create a culture where employees feel safe, valued, supported and respected.
- Use HR knowledge and experience to make recommendations and people-related decisions.
- Coach and develop HR team members and operations partners.
- Establish talent management and development mechanisms.
- Support equitable selection, retention, development and performance management.
- Review employee sentiment data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Hold leaders and teams accountable for delivering a positive employee experience.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve employee engagement.
- Lead and follow up on organizational and operational change.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and remove barriers to change adoption.
- Promote positive change management practices across teams.
🎓 Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant field experience.
