📝 Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for its Transportation team. The role will support transportation and Sort Center operations, with a focus on process execution, workforce management, quality, productivity and continuous improvement.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Define, build and take responsibility for the execution of transportation processes from Fulfillment Centers to customers while leveraging the Sort Center network.
- Hire, train and build a highly motivated workforce for Sort Center teams with support from HR and training teams.
- Ensure workforce capabilities meet operational requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
- Continuously improve Sort Center processes and achieve sustained performance standards.
- Initiate improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste and eliminate unnecessary work.
- Analyse data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve operational performance.
- Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.
🎓 Eligibility / Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in English, including speaking, writing and reading.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing is preferred.
